More likely I'd think is that they were made for some kind of horse racing game and I must say that just looking at these makes me think it was a really good one. Whatever the case, I love all these old horse headed pieces as a set now, wearing their original paint in a terrific palette. Great for lining up along the edge of a shelf in a long
