Graceful, Gestural Whittled Form/Figure Mt. Moosilalauke souvenir I've been on the hunt

I've been on the hunt for another of these brilliant puzzle-type boxes made to hold sewing machine attachments since finding (and immediately selling) one a few months ago--and here one is

11 7/8" in diameter and in very good condition

but especially the loose confidence and great cheerfulness of this urn of flowers

and all the crayons are in very good shape

on Cathay")--which makes me wonder whether the original inspiration for the drawing was an image first painted on a teacup

Graceful, Gestural Whittled Form/Figure Mt. Moosilalauke souvenir I've been on the huntJust a little thing, but I think it's so lovely, like a whittled abstraction of a long limbed modern dancer. I don't know anything of who made it or when, but I sure love the effect of the patch of bark left untouched, as if minimally clothing a figure who reaches out from center in every direction. 5 1 2" longest x 4" wide measured on the square. Very good condition.
