Ramonet, Pernand Vergelesses Belles Filles other_regions_italy It is bloody and visceralThis carries a relatively deep color for reds from Pernand, undoubtedly reflecting the high maturity of the 2018 vintage. There is plenty of earth and a whisper of herbal tea to the ripe aromas of plum and dark berries. The agreeably textured and solidly concentrated middle weight flavors flash touches of youthful austerity and rusticity on the sneaky long finish. This isnt especially elegant, indeed its borderline robust, but I like the frank
