I love portraits of people and their dogs, and quite a pair these two, with this fellow looking rather renegade to me. I find the gesture of the dog's raised and turned head the hinge of the whole image: turned as if to register the man's expression and to have an eye on the position of his gun! while also exposing neck and chest in what feels like a vulnerable way. 10" x 6 3 8".
