so believe the portrait dates to right around 1850

and then room for pins all around the sides

overlapping the the front and joined with a nail

it would be a fun one to hang from a couple of nails snaking across the wall

minor dings and a few white paint spots here and there (the paint seems like it could be scraped off if desired)

Antique Booted Leg Threaded Finial or Pull (Doubles as a Pipe Tamper!) antique juggling ball so believe the portrait datesAt first I thought this was a pipe tamper, but there is a threaded opening at the thigh end, so I am pretty certain it was made as a finial or perhaps even a cabinet pull. (With a little searching, I find 19th c. cane handles in a very similar form and manner.) Wonderfully detailed boot, with eye holes and laces up the front, and dots around the perimeter of the sole, too, and then this excellent tightly belted garter. No mark that I can see, mixed
