I couldn't resist it, and since cicadas are symbols of personal renewal and transformation, surely a giant cicada must emit powerful positive energy! The body was hand carved, and the legs appear to be cast brass, connected to the body by small posts aided by glue, which is visible in spots. Seems to me this one would make a pretty unforgettable gift, especially for someone in a period of transition! 10 3 8" long; 6 1 2" across at
