2023 Azienda Vitivinicola Tiberio Pecorino 'Quarmari', Abruzzo, Italy Gen del Alma and Boa de AlicanteTiberios Quarmar is a singular expression of Pecorino, sourced from a tiny 2. 5 acre plot on the estate. This is Pecorino in its most layered, mineral driven formgrown in limestone and marly clay over sandstone, fermented with indigenous yeasts, and aged 18 months in tank and bottle before being bottled unfined and unfiltered. Its rich yet electric, with ripe apricot, kiwi, lemon oil, and sweet spice, balanced by a salty, beeswax inflected depth.
