2021 Tomas Postigo '5 Ano' Tinto Ribera del Duero, Spain Chateau Cormeil Figeac a return to Riscal's rootsCherry red colour with deep maroon rims. Loads of red fruit (cherry, raspberry). As wine opens it shows licorice, balsamic notes. The fine wood lends wine spicy , slight earthy and bush notes with floral hints. Lots of fruit and spice, earthy and balsamic notes. A nervous wine with powerful tannins and pretty pleasant acidity on the palate. Spicy aftertaste with loads of fruit. Harmonious.
